Children’s Meetings
10:30 - 11:15am in the Fox Room and then joins the main Meeting for the last fifteen minutes.
Breakfast Meeting 2nd & 4th Sundays
9:15 - 10:00am, Breakfast provided beforehand from 8:45am
Mid Week Meeting, Wednesdays
13:15 - 13:45, bring lunch to have beforehand from 12:45pm.

We have a variety of rooms to hire at our historical Quaker meeting house from confidential counselling rooms to our main Meeting Hall. Find calm and tranquility tucked away in the city centre, a short walk from York station.

Wheelchair Access
There is smooth access to all of our rooms for wheelchair users. The front doors are automatic and there is an accessible lift to all floors.
Hearing Loop
There is a hearing loop in the Main Meeting Room which is used during Meeting for Worship and other events held in the room.
Accessible Toilet
We have accessible toilets on the ground and lower ground floor.
How to get to Friargate Quaker Meeting House from Castlegate Car Park.
A large pay and display car park is situated by Cliffords Tower in York. From there it is a short walk to the Meeting House.
There are a number of bus routes that stop along Clifford Street. Please consider using York's Park & Ride Service.
Friargate Quaker Meeting House also has a secure site to lock up bikes.

Come to our evening meeting for worship on Wednesday at 5:30pm. The Quaker meeting lasts one hour followed by a shared meal of baked potatoes. Bring hearts and mind prepared plus your favorite potato topping!
